REV. David barrie

Dave has been Rector of St Paul’s Cobbitty since 2014. He and Jo have been married for twenty years and they have four children ranging in age from twelve to nineteen. Before entering the ministry, Dave studied Physics at UNSW and worked as a laser and optics engineer in the optical fibre industry. He loves tennis, adventurous holidays, Mexican Mondays, family games nights, podcasts which make him think and novels which help him slow down.

Cathy Ware

Cathy has been the Parish administrator (part-time) since 2018. She is married to Paul and they have a large family of energetic children and grandchildren. Cathy also works casually as a teacher in local Christian schools. Her passion is hanging out with God’s people and sharing his love through service. Cathy enjoys bushwalking, team sports, gardening, reading, music, craft, spending time with the grandkids and watching a good movie.

REV. COLIN BALE

Colin has joined the Cobbitty community as the Seniors’ Minister at St Paul’s. He is married to Gillian and has three adult children. Colin was an English/History teacher, then an Anglican minister, later Vice-Principal of Moore Theological College and retired in 2021. He loves spending time with Gillian, travel, cycling, theatre, classical music and walking/training their two Australian Shepherds.
